Integration with Association Management SystemFrom $1Table of contentsThe SPIN site will need to make use of the member and prospect data contained in our current AMS system (Arcstone), http://www.pdma.org. The current system should be the master for the below fields in the initial phase of SPIN. In the future, though, PDMA could use SPIN for updates for some of these fields. Integration MechanismThe current AMS vendor would create and publish 2 web services, consumable by PDMA’s selected vendors for 3rd party applications. One web service would be for authentication. The web service method would pass a username and password to the ArcStone server which would in turn query the PDMA database with the passed values and return XML with the login permissions for those passed values. A second web service would be published to provide XML of Login, Contact, Membership and Group Affiliation information for a passed pdma_id value.
